The Villas
Brown Acre Village is based on the successful development concept of twelve other similar lifestyle villages all undertaken by R.J. Ker Contractors Limited. The two most recent are Holdsworth in Masterton and Rangeview in Levin.
The village is to be comprised of 70 single-storey homes arranged in pairs in the landscaped gardens with each villa having its own gardens. The village itself has a central garden, with other green areas interspersed throughout.
Villa owners can choose from one of five villa designs, allowing them to pick a home to suit their individual needs in terms of size, floor plan and affordability. Some designs include the possibility of a mezzanine floor. The Plan 3 villas do not include a garage, however, separate garages will be built in the village and available to rent.

Each dwelling at Brown Acre Villas is built with attractive low maintenance brick and linear weatherboard, and designed for comfort and privacy. All interiors are fully decorated and carpeted to the taste of the purchaser, and include new appliances.
The standard package includes 100% wool carpet and cushion vinyl in service areas; television and telephone cabling; range and fridge/freezer; shower, vanity, elegant tapware and heated towel rail. The package also includes a 2.4kw heater. The garage door comes equipped with an automatic door opener.
Prospective home owners choose their own colour co-ordinated painted internal walls. They can also opt to upgrade items included in the standard package, or buy extras for their home that are not included in the package.
